A high quality handmade display case with solid oak frame and case, these cabinets are made to order by me here in the UK. As a bespoke service, I work with you to get the design and layout you want.

Fitted gold plated hinges and magnetic closure.
Comes with built in French Cleat mounting system; very easy to mount with full instructions. Non wall mounting option available. Please see below.
I use 3mm clear Perspex for safety but offer low iron toughened glass at extra cost.
Brass plaques are a separate charge. I order these in and just pass on the cost. I mount these for free.
Where applicable, your items are fixed using sterling silver/ brass or stainless steel wire, Velcro or double sided tape so they can be removed.

The process:
Upon placing your order I will message you with my address and you ship/ post your display items to me. Please see below for alternate drop off/ collection provision.
While waiting for your items to arrive, I will be milling and preparing the oak timber for your case.
Once I receive your items, I will try some layout options and send you pictures for agreement on final layout.
We will agree the contents of the brass plaques at this time.
Once agreed I will finish the build and ship the case to you.

Please note couriers have restrictions on bladed articles if you are thinking of shipping me a bayonet or a kukri etc. Check with the post office direct. Their guidance is online.

**I don't mount firearms, grenades (inert or otherwise) or other similar items using this service. Please don't send them or any other prohibited articles. Anything of this type will be handed to the police.**

Delivery Drop off/ Collection option:
I understand the sentimental and financial value that these items have. I also know that some units/ service come with confidentiality requirements so discretion is assured.
I am happy to accept drop off by agreement once payment has gone through. I live in the Colchester area.
If you are a woman dropping off on your own we can arrange a time when my wife is present if that is preferable.
For bulk orders (for example a group of soldiers placing a number of orders at Colchester Barracks) I am happy to collect items depending on size of order and distance.

French Cleat
The French cleat is built into the frame. All you have to do is attach the second part (supplied) to your wall. Full instructions are given but screws/ bolts are not, as these are determined by the type of wall you have (Brick, Wood, Stud etc). The French cleat is used in art galleries all over the world for its reliability, and once you use it, you'll never trust a thin piece of picture wire again.
If you prefer not to mount it to the wall, I can supply a photo frame style prop to attach to the French cleat stand at no extra charge. Please be aware though that with the prop the display case will extend about 35cm to the rear, so will need a sideboard size depth to stand on. A window ledge will not be wide enough. As it's bespoke though, we can try to work with what you have. Feel free to contact me.
