Forbescraft was created through a love of the handmade and the desire to make and provide something special for people, in particular beautiful wooden boxes of high quality that would be cherished and admired by the lucky recipient and their family and friends.

I have always enjoyed woodcraft and wanted to share this using top quality sustainable wood. I personally source all my materials, visiting the suppliers where able to ensure I have exactly the correct wood. Wood has an infinite number of colours and patterns so each project I work on is different in some way, so what you get is unique to you.

Our boxes are not mass produced, but individually created, with care and attention to detail. All marquetry is hand cut, not laser cut. Boxes are fully lined and can be fitted with trays or drawers for all your special items.
They are perfect for weddings, anniversaries, Christmas, birthdays or “just because”.

We are happy to work on both a private and commercial basis.
